Inaugural lecture of Jack Straw (UCL Political Science), 'Britain and Europe', 6 December, 2011 Jack Straw is Visiting Professor in UCL Political Science and MP for Blackburn. He has held several senior Cabinet positions, including Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary and Justice Secretary. The event was co-organised by the UCL European Institute and UCL Political Science. Sir Stephen Wall, Chair of UCL Council and Chair of UCL European Institute's Advisory Board, was discussant and the event was chaired by Professor Robert Hazell, UCL Constitution Unit, School of Public Policy.
