This is another example of what to expect with regards to the listening section for the TOEFL ibt. This is the first listening passage out of six. There will be 4 lectures and 2 conversations. You cannot read the questions until the listening passage ends. The questions will appear right after the lecture and you are supposed to answer them in the order that they appear. In the real TOEFL, you cannot go back to previous questions, so take your time to read them carefully as well as each choice they give you.
You have 20 minutes to answer all 34 questions (THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE TIME YOU SPEND LISTENING). You have 20 minutes of thinking time so there is no need to rush through the questions.
At the end of the last lecture (TOEFL listening test 2.6) you can see how your score on 34 translates into a standard TOEFL score.
