I thought it would be a good idea to have Millie put into the nursing home where my daughter Sheree worked.
I asked my daughter to look into it, but the administrator didn't think it was a good idea and recommended others.
She also said that the best way to get into the nursing home was to go to the hospital for an unrelated illness, such as a urinary tract infection, then have the doctor place her into the nursing home.
We took her advice and Millie was eventually admitted to Fountainview Nursing Home in Monroe.
