The Queen has visited Will and Kate at Kensington Palace to meet her new great grandson the Prince of Cambridge for the first time.
She stayed with the couple and their newborn for 30 minutes before heading back to Buckingham Palace.
The Queen made the visit without the Duke of Edinburgh who is still recovering from surgery in June.
Last night Her Magesty told guests attending a reception at Buckingham Palace that she was 'thrilled' by the arrival of her third great-grandchild.
Shortly after, Will and Kate were filmed leaving the palace, and have now arrived at Kate's parent's home in Bucklebury. Report by Genelle Aldred.
