I love physics and maths, and I believe that one of the most important parts of teaching is instilling that love of the subject in students.
I studied these subjects at A-Level very recently, and I believe that makes me uniquely qualified to relate to students studying them at both GCSE and A-Level, not to mention meaning I have an up-to-date understanding of their syllabi.
Physics and maths are difficult subjects which are often poorly taught, and that can be very off-putting for people, but I believe that with enough dedication on the part of the tutor, students can be made to realise how interesting and engaging these subjects are.
I'm a self-proclaimed nerd in many areas, not just academic subjects, and when I'm not studying for exams or tutoring I can be found in Imperial College's wonderful science fiction library, which I help to run.
What I lack in years of experience tutoring I make up for in enthusiasm for these subjects, and I look forward to sharing that enthusiasm with my students.
