This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. What can we learn from our experiences of travelling on are own? The journey of self-discovery found in travelling solo and what we are missing out on.
Daniela de Rosa was born in Milan, studied Classics in high-school and has a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at Catholic University of Milan. She started working in PR and media agencies, publishing houses, TV programs. When she turned 30, she decided that her real dream was to become a journalist. She then worked for ‘Il Giornale’, whose editor-in-chief was the late Indro Montanelli, one of the most reputable journalist in Italy. She has also produced and conducted radio programs about travel and lifestyle for Rai, the national broadcasting company in Italy. In 2000 she created www.permesola.com, which is still her baby (despite it been 14 years old) and she writes and publishes travelling guides for women.
