Hello my name is Suzannee Ludwig.
I am a native British-English speaker born and bred in Wellington, New Zealand.
Although my mother is a New Zealander, my father is from Germany. I speak German, Mandarin Chinese and a little Spanish.
Having learnt languages myself, I understand the frustrations that come with learning new languages. I like to use the same techniques that helped me learn foreign languages when I teach English.
I have experience in teaching English via Skype to adults and children in Southern China. I found that using fun techniques, TESOL methods and using real life situations really assist the learning process. Learning a language should be enjoyable, practical and fun. No one likes to learn boring lists of words that have no meaning and do not relate to everyday life!
My teaching experience has taught me that each student is different. I like to make my lessons interesting, relevant and appropriate to the needs of my students.
I have lived and visited many countries and appreciate that learning just a few words in a foreign language opens up many doors. I was living in Taiwan last year working as a volunteer. As my knowledge of the Mandarin language grew so did my confidence! The same can happen to you with English.
By learning a new language you can also learn about a new culture. How exciting! Through speaking a new language you can open the door to a whole new world.
Wouldn't you love to be able to make friends and travel to other countries speaking English confidently? Let me help you unlock the door to learning English. I would love to help you on your journey to becoming more confident in your language skills. I look forward to working with you!
