IELTS Reading: Choose your Strategy Carefully http://www.sentenceguide.com/ Hi there!! Today, we’re going to have a very brief look at choosing your strategy. Take a look at this quick recap I’ve prepared for you! 0:40 So, the first school of thought is that you spend more time on the first and second article, knowing that this is where you’re going to pick up the majority of your points. Spend less time on the third article, because that’s the most difficult one. 1:24 “I can attitude.” This means allocating the same amount of time for each article and trying to score maximum points on each section. However, we’re not really focusing on the positive or negative here. We’re focusing on being realistic and what works for you. 2:05 Do some practice tests and try the first and third, focusing on the first two and leaving maybe 10 or 15 minutes for the final section—the hardest one. Then, try the “I can strategy” and go for all three at the same time with the same effort. See which strategy brings you the best results and adopt that one. Good luck and enjoy the video!
