Baseball is a sport which is pretty popular in America but is rarely played in other countries. You might be new to baseball and probably won't know what a strike is, or a home run, and most likely there are many other terms you just don't know the meaning. It can seem complicated and there are a lot of terms which have a different meaning in baseball than they do somewhere else.
