This series is just so real and is now displaying it's depth as well. - THOSE NICOLAS/VERONICA FLASHBACKS THO... O.O - THE OST IS LIKELY BEST THIS SEASON AS WELL...MY BOY TSUCHIE!

Getting more exposition on The Ergastulum underworld (Three Laws/Contract Holder x Tag relations and The Guild) + More Nic & Worrick backstory - WORRICK IS SO DOPE (even tho Nic is best boy worrick has really grown on me as well)

OMFG THAT CLIFFHANGER!!! MY MONEY IS ON MAH BOY NICOLAS FOR SURE - WORICK IS BEAST (DAT PHOTOGRAPHIC GENIUS MEMORY THO!) - learning more about Worick and Nicolas past and how their bond began to form was amazing (so much deep exposition and darkness lurking) - DAT ALEX SCENE WAS INSANE!

DAT GANGSTA GREATNESS! - This episode was great as it had a nice pacing, provided exposition on the structure of Ergastulum's Underworld (who some major players are, etc...) - NICOLAS/WORICK'S PAST - this seems quite dark but there's definitely much more to the story than the hints we're given lead you to believe. - TWILIGHTS/TAGS FEELS ARE HEAVY RIGHT NOW

NICOLAS FTMFW (BEST BOY HANDS DOWN) - CLASS A/0 TAG/TWILIGHT - I UNDERSTAND THOSE SHOU TUCKER VIBES W/ THEO & NINA...BUT THAT SHIT'S NOT HAPPENING (it's more like Soga & Mariko in Area D) - Twilights/Dog Tags are clearly some sort of super human mercenary group of experimental soldiers - whether they were drugged or had natural abilities idk...can't wait to find out
DUDE LURKING IN THE SHADOWS SEEMS LIKE A GRADE A FIEND
They better get into the material from chapter 2 that was skipped but ultimately I think skipping to 3 & 4 made the pace better for the anime.

The OP/ED + OST ARE AMAZING and with the art style and animation compliment the world of Gangsta so well.
BLACK LAGOON VIBES ARE HEAVY (which just makes the series f***in awesome in my opinion) - check this series out if you like darker series centered around badasses and mafia/criminal underworld setting
They got Ergo Proxy and Samurai Champloo talent working on this project and it shows
VAs are amazing as well
Can't really talk to much about the plot in depth until we get past vol. 1 material tho since I want to avoid spoilers

Summary:
In the city of Ergastulum, a shady ville filled with made men and petty thieves, whores on the make and cops on the take, there are some deeds too dirty for even its jaded inhabitants to touch. Enter the "Handymen," Nic and Worick, who take care of the jobs no one else will handle. Until the day when a cop they know on the force requests their help in taking down a new gang muscling in on the territory of a top Mafia family.
