The UCC College of SEFS 2013 public lecture series will begin on Wednesday 16th January and continue for 11 consecutive weeks on Wednesday nights at 8pm in Boole 4 Lecture Theatre. These popular lectures are free to the public and regularly attract large audiences. The series is organized by emeritus Professor William Reville, Public Awareness of Science Officer, UCC (Tel. 021 4205422).
The lectures will cover a wide range of topical issues including useful new foods, obesity, use and misuse of antibiotics, free will and the role of diet in healthy ageing.
