The main objectives of the hadron collider physics school (HASCO) are introductory topics in elementary particle physics, in particular in hadron collider physics as relevant for research at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). This includes lectures and tutorials on theoretical foundations of the Standard Model of elementary particle physics as well as experimental techniques to test it. This year's focus was placed on physics of the Higgs boson, which was discovered on 4th July 2012, and of the upcoming 13/14 TeV energy. More than 40 students and 12 lecturers from 12 institutes in Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom as well as the United States, and Nepal attended the school from 20.7.-24.7.2015 with lectures, tutorials, seminars and some hands-on physics experiments.
