The Center for Human Potential and Public Policy (CHPPP), in collaboration withthe Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group, present the Fifth Annual Lecture on Science, Technology, & Society featuring Paul Tough. In his lecture-- "The Science of Success"-- Mr. Tough will explore ideas and themes from his new book How Children Succeed, in which he examines how character traits can help children overcome the constraints of poverty and narrow the achievement gap. Following the lecture, a panel of experts responds to Mr. Tough's talk, followed by a Q & A session.
