Henry Farber is the Hughes-Rogers Professor of Economics at Princeton University, a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). He also serves on the CERGE-EI Executive and Supervisory Committee (ESC). While in Prague for an ESC meeting last month, Professor Farber sat down with CERGE-EI PhD student Katka Kobylisnki for a brief interview. Their discussion includes the challenges and achievements of labor economics, and labor policy and austerity in US and Europe today.
