Eliana La Ferrara, Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica Invernizzi Chair in Development Economics, Bocconi University, delivered the tenth JEEA-FBBVA lecture, and eighth to be held at the ASSA Meetings, at 12.30pm on Saturday January 3, 2015, in Boston. The lecture was entitled "Mass Media and Social Change: Can We Use Television To Fight Poverty?". The lecture was also given at the FBBVA headquarters in Madrid on Wednesday May 6, 2015.
