LUT Chemistry invited Professor Alison Lewis from The University of Cape Town, South Africa, to give lectures on LUT's crystallization course.
During her visit, Prof. Lewis gave her visions for chemical engineering and the employment of men and women in this field. At LUT Chemistry, separation and water technology are major topics of teaching and research: how to purify, recover, separate and analyze solid or dissolved substances.
These applications in green chemical technology are important for sustainability. LUT Chemistry has new laboratories, providing good facilities for teaching and research.
