How are you doing? I am **************************** and I have received my TOEFL ibt scores today. I am a little bit disappointed and not happy at all. I already knew I was going to have a low score in the speaking part. Moreover I was really nervous during the exam so the punctuation has been awful in this part. I am also not happy with the writing part as I normally score more. I need a 100 score... but on the other way round!!: reading 23, listening 23, speaking 27, writing 27... awwww!!! It is impossible for me right now. I am working and doing other stuff my free time and I have already put all my effort this 2 last months to rise my score. I will show this to the organization to which I am applying the fellowship to know If I need to perform in the toefl better.
I have a concrete question: is it true that we can retake 2 parts keeping the score on the reading and the listening part without any change? How many days would I have to do it? As if I have the chance to do it during the summer, it will be awesome, but I suppose that the grades must be retaken within a concrete period of time, isn't it? Would you redo any part? Speaking or writing?
Or would you ask a re-score? In order to receive the 100 points....? Or would it be useless as I do not reach the individual punctuations? I am a mess
Thank you very much, specially due to your patience. Without you and your advices I am sure that I would not have scored more than 15! :-) I hope to hearing from you, and I will probably ask for your help one more time. For sure, even though I receive my grant I will continue with English classes throughout the summer in order to improve my skills as I need something more than just the TOEFL, being in contact with real english and feeling more comfortable with the pronunciation and the speech.
