In 1972, Ugandan dictator Idi Amin ordered all Asians out of the country, which led to around 10,000 arriving in Leicester. 40 years on and their arrival has been brought to life in 'Kampala to Leicester' at New Walk Museum to tell the Story of Leicester's Ugandan Asian community from 1972 - 2012.
