Maglalatik is an indigenous dance of the Phillipines in which coconut shell halves are placed on certain areas of the body. The dancers are usually shirtless and dance by hitting one coconut shell with the other rhythmically. This dance depicts the fight between the Moros and the Christians that fought for coconut meat during Spanish rule. Also, Laurie Reyes talks about The Wounded Warrior project for Grazielle Ramierez.
