Today is the official pie day. There will be a long lunch and a variety of pies available. Thank you in advance Math Honor Society.
Math Honor Society applications are now available, please see your math teacher or Mr. Daly if you are interested in applying. And now here's a special message from them.
A representative from UVA's Upward Bound Program will be on our campus on Wednesday, March 19th during lunch time in guidance conference room 103K. He will provide a program description, answer questions and distribute program applications. If interested please get your lunch then report to room 103K on Wednesday!
Albemarle's Science National Honors Society is is now accepting applications for membership. The application comes in 2 parts and can be found on the web. All application are due by March 27 at 3:45 PM to Mrs. Brown in room, 257. More information can be found on the school's website.
The Patriot Singers received straight 1's in today's Choral Assessment, including a perfect score in sight-reading. This, combined with the 1's received by the band and orchestra, makes us a Virginia Music Educators Association Blue Ribbon School once again. Congratulations girls!
BREAKING NEWS! WE HAVE THE NEW DATE FOR THE BOY'S VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT. Thursday March 27th IS THE NEW DATE. There is still time to get your team together. Teams of 10 are $5 per person. Packets are available in the SCA office and are due BY THURSDAY, MARCH 20TH.
ATTENTION SOPHOMORES! A JOSTENS REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE COMING TO MEET WITH YOU FOR A SHORT CLASS RING MEETING DURING THE FIRST HALF OF CHAT ON THURSDAY, MARCH 20TH IN THE AUDITORIUM. On Thursday, March 27th and Friday, April 11th, representatives from Josten's will be at AHS to deliver graduation products. Students may pick up their order during their lunches on those dates. Gain hands-on experience and learn from professionals during the Spring Break Academies at PVCC March 31 - April 4, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily and lunches included. Open to grades 9 - 12. Application forms are in AHS Guidance Office. Applications are due Monday March 17
The Drama Department is having their annual comedy production this tomorrow March 15th in the auditorium at 8 p.m. This year's theme is the Disney Channel and tickets are $5 at the door. Come support the Drama Department and see a great show!
