Some people are surprised to learn that much of the world dine in the same way you'll see on this video; from one platter and with their hands. Contrary to the many portraits seen of The Last Supper, the actual scene would have been them lounging and include them feeding each other... at least this is recorded, that they fed each other. PLEASE NOTE: the usual eating utensils and individual plates are provided upon request! (thought some of you would like to know that) Sharing a meal together is an intimate experience in some cultures and close ties are maintained by this ancient practice. The flat bread you will see in this video is made from a very small grain, some say it's a grass seed, called 'teff' and one cup of this grain has more absorbable calcium than milk! In fact, this tiny grain is richer in iron than liver. If any of you prefer or are restricted to a gluten free diet, here's one dining option you'll want to check out. Some form of flat bread is common to most world cuisines, but few of them equal the nutritive value found in 'teff'.
