In this first video of the series, we provide an overview of the TOEFL iBT Reading Section, including examining the different reading strategies necessary when first approaching a reading passage on the test. The difference between READING and SKIMMING is also examined. We also discuss the importance of understanding how to answer multiple choice questions and using the PROCESS of ELIMINATION to improve test performance, and then introduce the 10 basic question types found on the test.
