B: Our records show it’s for something bought at the Love flower shop.
A: Um. You know what? I am going to call them to find out what the charge is for. I really haven’t been to a florist’s to buy any flowers for this past year though.
B: Okay. Please call them and find out what happened, and call us back. Thank you.
Questions 44-46 refer to the following conversation.
A: Hi. My name is Frank and I will be serving you guys tonight. We have our special today our Jamaican pasta and French onion soup. Would you guys like to try that?
B: Oh, wonderful. I will have the pasta with meat sauce on the side and the small salad, please.
A: Ok, anything to drink with that? We have fine wines and some good sodas.
B: No, thank you. Just a glass of mineral water, please.
Questions 50-52 refer to the following conversation.
A: We have a special on oranges today, 5 for a dollar.
B: Wow! Are you serious? That’s such a good price! But I just bought some yesterday.
A: Lemons and pears are on sale this week, too. The sale will last until the end of this week. You do not want to regret missing it.
B: I know. But I am afraid that it might not even be worth buying it since I already bought so much fruit yesterday.

A: Our book club meets every first Wednesday of each month. Would you like to join?
B: Hmm. Yes, I might want to. What kind of books do you guys read?
A: This time we are reading ‘Salad Day’ by Arlene Mcdonald. You should really come.
B: Well. I actually read that book a month ago. And there are some other clubs I’ve wanted to join. So I will let you know if I want to join your club.

A: I think I might return this new computer. It was so expensive but it turns out to be a waste.
B: What do you mean? It is one of the nicest computers out there right now. What’s wrong with it?
A: Well, first of all, it won’t turn on. I knew I shouldn’t have bought a computer from them.
B: Let me take a look. Well Mike, you need to plug in the switch in order to turn on the computer, don’t you? You’ve been trying to turn the computer on without the switch plugged in.
Questions 59-61 refer to the following conversation.
A: I want to ship this box to Tokyo, please? It is pretty heavy and it needs to be well protected. It is made of glass.
B: Would you like to ship surface mail or airmail? I would recommend the airmail for safety.
A: Which one is faster? I need it to arrive by Friday.
B: The airmail is faster and safer. However, it will cost you more.

A: I think I accidentally damaged some phone wires yesterday when I was moving my desk,
B: I’ve got replacement wires. I can work it out this afternoon.
A: Thanks. I hope these replacement wires will be a little stronger and thicker than the ones I used before. It just annoyed me so much.
B: Yeah. These wires are pretty strong and thick. I’ve been using them for about five years and they’re still working fine.

B: I'd be happy to. But I need to finish these evaluations first, though. They are such a pain in my butt!
A: But the evaluations aren’t due until next week. You should have plenty of time to help her.

A: Thanks. I am going to trust the weather news and buy a good umbrella. I can’t just be in my room the whole time you know?
B: I don’t know If you really want to trust the weather news. It is wrong every single time!
