Explore the fractal online at http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/GeneralizedStraightedgeAndCompassFractal/ I found this interesting fractal pattern of circles that can be easily made by starting with an equilateral triangle and repeatedly taking midpoint triangles, and drawing a circle about each vertex of an equilateral triangle that's radius equals the edge-length its triangle. I think it is well known that the pattern of points obtained by recursively creating midpoint triangles is related to the Sierpinski triangle fractal, but I have not seen any work describing the rich pattern of circles. In this video I show how to construct this fractal using software called GeoGebra. . http://www.geogebra.org/cms/en/ https://sites.google.com/site/richardsouthwell254/home
