www.canvasvle.co.uk Located only four miles from Wimbledon, Sutton Tennis Academy is an international training centre in South West London. The academy serves as a training base for many world-ranked players and provides a flexible approach to meet the training, practice, and educational needs of young players. Student athletes enrolled in Sutton’s Tennis and Education programme through a partnership with Wolsey Hall Oxford use the Canvas Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to access course learning resources while at Sutton or while travelling for weeks or months at a time. In addition to providing a variety of ways for students to communicate with Wolsey tutors, Canvas makes it possible for parents and coaches to monitor students’ progress from anywhere. Sutton coaches say Canvas supports student athletes by providing a learning platform that strengthens both their tennis and education programmes.
